The 2022 Walk & Roll to Cure FSHD a Success! THANK YOU!
The Walk & Roll to Cure FSHD is the only international event focused solely on funding progress for FSHD. Led entirely by dedicated volunteers, supported by staff, events take place all over the U.S. and Canada. The 2022 Walk & Roll campaign has ended, but it is not too late to make a donation in support of your favorite participant or location, just click on any icon on the map below.
And stay tuned for date and location announcements for 2023!
We began the campaign in 2018 with just 5 events. This community of fierce FSHDers across North America continue to celebrate successful Walk & Roll events year after year. We can't wait to see you at the Walk & Roll in 2023!.
Since the Walk & Roll began in 2018 we have raised more than $2.5 million for
groundbreaking FSHD research and programs of patient education and support.
International Celebration Livestream with FSHD Radio
Each year, our FSHD Radio podcast host, Tim Hollenback, holds a coast to coast, Walk & Roll celebration livestream. Walkers and Rollers check in with us live from Florida, to Canada, to California - and all points in between.
We celebrate teams and top fundraisers, share personal stories, and come together... one voice that is thousands strong, to say, "FSHD does not get the final word; we will keep walking and rolling until a cure is found!"
We had an excellent celebration on September 17, 2022! You can watch the recording on Facebook @FSHDSociety or on YouTube, HERE
Teams & Team Captains!
Team Captains, You Are Our Heroes!!!
Team captains put in a lot of extra time and effort to rally their family and friends for FSHD and we want to celebrate and support that. That's why we've created a Team Captain Success Kit - to help teams achieve even greater success and have even more fun!

Participate in a way that works for you!
In person or virtual, all roads come together through powerful online tools and an international livestream celebration.
Want to participate but live far from an event site? A morning person and want to walk/roll at 7am? Whatever you are most comfortable with, there is a way for you to join this incredible annual effort!
We look forward to walking and rolling with you in 2023!
Max Adler launched Team Mighty Max because he watched his Mom, Lisa, and Grandma Ruth struggle with FSH Muscular Dystrophy. Determined to do all he could so that no one would have to go through this ever again, he joined forces with the FSHD Society and determined to be a part of the solution.
"I watched my Mom and Grandma struggle with this disease, and I don’t want that to happen to anyone, anywhere, ever again. The money we're raising by participating in this Walk & Roll is supporting programs and funding research that will directly impact patients and their families living with FSH Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD)." - Max Adler
